Speed of Implementation is the time it takes from when you have an idea to when you put in into action.

That is, when you think of an idea and then immediately do something to ’set the wheels in motion’.

As soon as you have that “aah-haa” moment, you immediately get out there and take action to implement it.

That’s speed of implementation. Get the idea?

So from this it’s not hard to work out that successful online business owners are usually very good at implementing things quickly. They just do it!

On the other hand, less successful people usually take their time. They think about it for a while, call up their unsuccessful friends and ask them if it’s a good idea, and then after much procrastination, they *may* take action and implement it at their own pace.

Usually very s l o w l y – if at all.

So what can we learn from all this?

If you are to have any chance of reaching your online income goals, not only must you TAKE ACTION,

…you need to TAKE ACTION FASTER THAN YOUR COMPETITORS!

Don’t sit around thinking about it, weighing up this against that, trying to work out if it’s really worth doing or not. This is what *unsuccessful* people do. You want to be successful don’t you?

Then you’ve got to learn to follow in the footsteps of successful people. And that means TAKING ACTION to implement what you learn TODAY.

Not tomorrow or the day after… TODAY!

If you don’t do it today, you won’t do it at all. Or if you do, it will be too late!

Be all you can be, but it’s not always in the Army. I often see myself as somewhat contented with my life the way things are, but of course it’s hard to think of anything else when where are real issues to be discussed.

Still I aspire for something deeper and more meaningful.

So we’re all pelted with problems. Honestly it shouldn’t even bother or even hinder us to becoming all we ought to be. Aspirations as kids should continue to live within us, even though it would be short-lived or as long as we could hold on to the dream. They say you can’t teach an old dog new tricks… or can they?

1. What do I really want?

The question of the ages. So many things you want to do with your life and so little time to even go about during the day.

Find something that you are good at can help realize that small step towards improvement. Diligence is the key to know that it is worth it.

2. Should I really change?

Today’s generation has taken another level of redefining ‘self’, or at least that’s what the kids are saying. Having an army of teenage nieces and nephews has taught me that there are far worse things that they could have had than acne or maybe even promiscuity. So how does that fit into your lifestyle?

If history has taught us one thing, it’s the life that we have gone through. Try to see if partying Seventies style wouldn’t appeal to the younger generation, but dancing is part of partying. Watch them applaud after showing them how to really dance than break their bones in break-dancing.

3. What’s the bright side in all of this?

With so much is happening around us there seem to be no room for even considering that light at the end of the tunnel. We can still see it as something positive without undergoing so much scrutiny. And if it’s a train at the end of the tunnel, take it for a ride and see what makes the world go round!

4. Am I comfortable with what I’m doing?

There’s always the easy way and the right way when it comes to deciding what goes with which shoes, or purse, shirt and whatnot. It doesn’t take a genius to see yourself as someone unique, or else we’ll all be equally the same in everything we do. Variety brings in very interesting and exciting questions to be experimented.

5. Have I done enough for myself?

Have you, or is there something more you want to do? Discontentment in every aspect can be dangerous in large doses, but in small amounts you’ll be able to see and do stuff you could never imagine doing.

6. Am I happy at where I am today?

It’s an unfair question so let it be an answer! You love being a good and loving mom or dad to your kids, then take it up a notch! Your kids will love you forever. The same goes with everyday life!

7. Am I appealing to the opposite sex?

So maybe I don’t have an answer to that, but that doesn’t mean I can’t try it, though. Whether you shape-up, change the way you wear your clothes or hair, or even your attitude towards people, you should always remember it will always be for your own benefit.

8. How much could I have?

I suppose in this case there is no such things on having things too much or too little, but it’s more on how badly you really need it. I’d like to have lots of money, no denying that, but the question is that how much are you willing to work for it?

9. What motivates me?

What motivates you? It’s an answer you have to find out for yourself. There are so many things that can make everyone happy, but to choose one of the may be the hardest part. It’s not like you can’t have one serving of your favorite food in a buffet and that’s it. Just try it piece by piece.

10. What Really Makes You Tick?

So? What really makes you tick? You can be just about anything you always wanted to be, but to realize that attaining something that may seem very difficult is already giving up before you even start that journey. Always remember, that self-improvement is not just about the physical or philosophical change you have to undergo, but it’s something that you really want.

How to Use Bonuses Correctly to Boost Sales!

Adding value to your product (or affiliate product) is an excellent strategy. But if you put a dodgey bonus together, or do this in the wrong way, you can devalue your offer so much that it becomes worthless. Simple as that.

So here’s a general rule of thumb for you.

If you’ve really thought about it, dug about and tried to find something to add in as a good worthwhile bonus to try and tip customers over the edge, and you honestly can’t find anything that fits the bill, go with nothing.

No bonuses are better than one that turns your potential customers away.

As obvious as that sounds, it seems to be occurring more and more often recently, which is strange because of the sheer number of people that claim to know what they’re talking about that are teaching people what to do with online business nowadays.

…and that’s when people take too much time and put in a little too much effort into adding value to their products.

See where I’m coming from?

Don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing wrong with giving special offers to encourage people to take action, or just to show people they’re getting a real good deal, but from $2500 down to $49.95?

That’s going over the top, and unfortunately this affects you and your product’s credibility.

Think about it? How would you feel if you walked into a store and saw a top of the range 62″ plasma screen knocked down from $12,000 to $200?

Your first reaction would either be ‘Yeah right, this a joke’, or even more likely ‘What’s the catch?’ or ‘What’s wrong with it?’.

The whole purpose of your sales lettes is to build credibility and to increase customer confidence in your product. You do this by identifying and addressing the problems and questions people might have in your niche, while at the same time creating a need for your product.

Do you see how adding too much value, too soon, or going really over the top can be detrimental? Where you see it as giving the customers a bargain, they’re seeing it as another question in their minds.

Hey don’t get me wrong. Discounts are good, but in this type of circumstance it’s going to kill your sales. Don’t make the same mistake.

Now it’s also important to remember to add value using bonuses in a way which makes your bonuses seem like real products themselves, but never ever lose sight of the main purpose of your website.

Don’t throw people off in different directions and have them read ten sales letters for different products. It just doesn’t work like that. Again while you may think you’re adding value, all you’re doing is distracting and confusing your visitors.

When people say sell your bonuses like a real product, they mean a few hard hitting paragraphs about how this compliments the main product and you’re getting a heck of a good deal, or you can’t get it anywhere else, or where it’s been proven etc.

Don’t go over the top, or you’ll begin losing your potential customers.

Now if you’re lost as to what the heck you could possibly give as a bonus to add value to your product, or don’t have anything to hand, don’t worry.

Your bonus doesn’t have to be tangible. It doesn’t have to be an ebook, it doesn’t have to be a piece of software. Open your mind a little and think about other things you could offer to people along with your product.

Are you respected in your field of expertise? How about a free one hour, no strings phone or video consultation, or even a follow-up consultation to see how they’ve done with the product you’ve just sold them?

This isn’t such a hard thing to implement if you have the knowledge. Just be careful not to try to give 100 people a free two hour consultation every week.

It doesn’t matter what you’re selling, you can use this method somewhere, whether it’s an hour free technical support, or a free 30 minute confidence builder to compliment your main product. It’s totally up to you.

Most Marketers Make This Mistake – Are You?

In my early years online I would have been lucky to read, listen or watch one tenth of all the ebooks, audios or DVDs I purchased.

You see, I was far to busy jumping from one product to the next to worry about actually implementing what I was learning.

So you don’t have to be a rocket scientist to work out that I wasn’t doing very well. In fact, I was losing more than I could afford.

Sound familiar?

And that’s the problem.

This is the same scenario being played out by 90% of new marketers online…

…and it is one of the biggest (if not THE biggest) reasons why most people fail to earn any real income online.

YES, it’s important to purchase products so that you can educate yourself on the latest methods to build and grow your online business…

…but unless you actually take action to put in place what you learn then you’re fooling yourself. You’re simply wasting your time, energy and money.

Only when you understand and totally accept that you *MUST* take action to implement what you learn will you move forward and begin building a solid future for yourself.

But before you do anything, you first need to decide on what business model you will use to build your business.

Once you’ve done this, you then need to be become a master of that model by studying all the techniques and strategies relating to this area.

For example, if you selected internet marketing as your niche you have the choice of many models to build your online business…

- Affiliate Marketing
- Blogs
- Butterfuly Marketing Sites
- Paid Memebership Sites
- Authority Sites
- Adsense Sites
- eBay
- and more…

Each of these models have many list building, traffic generating and other techniques you need to learn.

But a word of warning…

Don’t fall into the trap of trying to use multiple models when your first start out.

YES, using multiple models is a great way to explode your income, but this can only be done one step at a time. Trust me, I’ve been there, done that. You simply won’t have enough time to do this all at once.

First apply and master the various techniques for your chosen model – and then only when you’re showing good returns should you move on to another model.

Now building your business and earning an online income is not going to be easy. It will be frustrating, time consuming and at times it will mentally drain you.

But if you focus on one thing at at time, stay strong during times of adversity and follow your system, you WILL succeed!

How to Test Your Sites For Greater Returns

No copywriter worth his salt lets their website copy run without testing it for responses. The following are the two systems favoured by copywriters:

1. A/B Split Testing – A simple test of one element of a page against another to see which is more effective.

2. Multi-Variable Testing – Testing more than one element at a time to test new page treatments or offers.

Let me explain further exactly what each test actaully is…

A/B Split Testing:

In the A/B split testing you divide your visitors randomly into two groups and show each group a different version of a page. The variations may be of many types from color, to font, to offers of gifts.

The purpose of this testing is to see which version results in higher conversion, average order value, application completion, or other targets. Analysis of different results would create a summary that describes the impact of the A or B page version.

The two versions are shown to visitors normally called the A or B test group. They are observed on their visit, sometimes on several occasions to assess their reactions, especially to see as to whether they are likely to purchase anything after visiting the page in its existing or new format.

One fault of this system is that it requires very large samples, ie number of visitors for satisfactory test results.

For this reason the test may take a long time, which in turn do not take into account the many seasonal factors affecting the purchasing behavior of your visitors, for example, people are more likely to spend during the festive season.

Multi-Variable Testing:

A better way is to test elements on the page in different combination of designs etc. This approach is called Multi-Variable Testing and it allows you to test the elements on a page that you believe impact sales.

When planned and executed carefully, Multiple-Variable Testing virtually guarantees a positive change over your existing page.

A Multi-Variable Test on a product landing page might test the product image, the headline and the product description copy. The goal is to create the most compelling page possible so that visitors to this page, often paid for through search or banner advertising, convert to customers at the highest possible rate.

Two or more alternatives of the picture, description and headline are created and a page is composed for every combination of these elements in each of their versions. If there are 3 elements with two alternatives, this requires 8 combinations or “recipes.”

By splitting the traffic randomly and showing each visitor only one version, you can determine the optimal recipe. The advantage of Multi-Variable Testing over A/B Split Testing is that you can nearly always find a recipe that outperforms existing.

The problem with Multi-Variable Testing is that if you have more than three elements or more than two alternatives, the number of combinations becomes so large that it takes too many visitors to run a conclusive test.
